What do you do when you’re at home? Read, play, drink coffee, hang the washing, pack away the washing, make snacks, did I mention washing?

There are a million beautiful ordinary moments- the chaos, the calm, and all of the inbetween.

Let’s capture them. We can spend time with everyone together, and with each person doing the things they enjoy. We’re aiming for anything but perfection. It’s just you being you- and that’s generally a little bit imperfect.

Where we take our time - 2 hours

Family photos don't need a big event.

They don't need matching outfits and a Pinterest-worthy home. Let's spend a morning or afternoon together, as you are, capturing your life. Perfection is not our goal, think of it more as a time capsule of your days.

Long sessions mean time for a range of activities, and even a stroll to your local park or cafe, if that's what you love to do. We can chat through ideas together, to make sure you feel as relaxed as possible leading into the session.

What does it involve?

Photos at home, doing the things you love to do.

- A $250 Session Booking Fee secures your session for your chosen date

- We’ll have pre-session chat, so I’m not a total stranger when we meet (phone call, emails, any questions answered!)

- I’ll head to your place for 2 hours where you will play, hang out and do everyday life things. I’ll give some direction, find some fun light if you’ve got it, and encourage you to just love on each other

- A week later, I’ll send you what’s called a ‘proofing gallery’, so you can decide which photos you’d like to buy

The Nest Session: Short is a shorter, relaxed in-home photo session made for weekday life, available on Mondays and Fridays. Here to capture the quiet, the busy, the chaotic, the calm. Perfect for families who want to capture a taste of the everyday as it really is, in 45 minutes. It still gives us plenty of time to be fully present, and not feel like we're zooming through.

Whether you're working with a smaller budget, available only during weekdays, documenting homeschool or other weekly rhythms, spending time with visiting family, or just want to capture life more often — this session gives you a handful of meaningful images, with the opportunity to upgrade to a larger gallery.

If your home is a place where you can be you, take me there!

My passion is capturing realness in the spaces where you spend ordinary, everyday moments. Doing life in this season includes thousands of moments which you never see from an ‘outside-in’ perspective. By having me in your home, we can freeze some of those moments, those interactions, the tears, the laughs, the snacks.

An in-home photo session is a like a documentary of your life. I’m not purely a documentary photographer- my sessions are a mix of ‘as they are’ and lightly posed moments.
